Prompted by an article about the Kindle on the NYTimes blog, I've taken a moment to review my own thoughts on the product and various things surrounding it.

I used to watch this show growing up with two of my BFFs. We spent many a day rehashing the amusement, so this is exciting. :)

This is a wonderful ad, and everyone (especially D'fabulous) should go check out the site, www.reyka.com. Ahh, crispy design. I hope somebody got a commendation or something for the ad, because it's classy. Even the site is very nice, and features puffins as well as geysers, something not every site can do. Yep, it's good like Hushpuppies, which I haven't had in close to a decade.
Oh, speaking of design... which we were, I was just doing something new for DrunkBunny.
After a solid hour of progress I had it down to the final changes on the text. It would be ready to export within moments.
THEN ILLUSTRATOR SHUTS DOWN.
Some of you will understand my pain here upon further reading.
No error message, no blue screen of death, no ANYTHING. I thought (hoped, prayed) I had somehow alt-tabbed out, but no. The program was just gone. Of course this version had come out perfectly. It was the right coloration, the right font, even my work with the pen tool came out as I'd hoped.
DID I MENTION IT JUST SHUT DOWN.
Of course I had not saved it yet.
